Graphite Design Studio partnered with us to develop a series of interior visualizations for the Google Cloud Campus project to illustrate the various office lobby designs inspired by and related to the character of Lake Union – at which the buildings are located.

Responding to the developer’s desire for the interior design to connect with the exterior context, each building has a unique design language derived from the historic and current lakeside industry and new public parks and museums. The colors of the houseboats, the sky, the water, the buoys, the shapes of boats and bridges—all combine with a texture of reclaimed wood and rusty metal panels, sitting on a unifying floor plane which has the character of a gravelly beach.
