OUR
PROCESS
We strive to create beautiful and compelling imagery that best represents your ideas in a seamless process and allows you to focus time on your design, rather than on visualizations.
Connect with us to start a project. We’d love to work with you. In the meantime, we’ve answered some questions you may have before working with us.
Why work with us?
We understand that having renderings produced for your project can be a tedious and time-consuming process. Clients often times work with visualization teams that do not necessarily have backgrounds in architecture or design, leaving room for miscommunication and frustration.
As practicing architects, we know how a building is put together. As visual artists, we know what appeals to stakeholders, city officials and potential buyers and integrate both of these experiences into our work and collaboration with you.
We also believe that a successful collaboration is achieved through openness and transparency.
While we love the art and craft of making architectural visualizations, it is the relationships that we have built with clients over the years that have been the most meaningful to our work. We view ourselves as part of your team, as your advocate and partner, working together with you to convey the maximum potential value in every project we do.
What is your production process?
We are problem solvers and seek to make our collaboration with you as effortless and painless as possible. We understand that each client is different and has varying degrees of involvement with the visualization process. We tailor our workflow so that you are always informed of our progress and allow you to maintain ownership through client sign-offs at every phase and milestone.
STEP 1 - ONBOARDING
After a visualization contract agreement has been signed with us, our production process begins with an initial meeting with the client’s team to discuss the goals and purpose of the renderings. Clients are asked to submit any 3D models, 2D CAD drawings, and any other relevant design materials, including those from various project consultants, to initiate the production process.
STEP 3 -FINAL DELIVERY
The final stage involves setting up each image with assets and entourage before it is rendered and sent through post-production. Clients have the opportunity to make any final comments and minor entourage revisions before final visuals are delivered.
STEP 2 - VIEW CONFIRMATION
After building the 3D model and setting up the views, our team will return with a series of initial views based on the preliminary discussion. Our team will have tweaked and refined the angles and often times, even propose alternative views that we think may be of interest (providing additional wow factor or to help bolster the overall design narrative). Clients will sign off on all final views at this stage before moving into the rendering phase.
What topics are discussed in the first meeting?
Our initial meetings are opportunities for each client to convey any relevant project information, unique characteristics and selling points of the project. Depending on the degree of certainty a client may or may not have with their visualization needs, we often turn this meeting into a brainstorming session - giving the client a chance to “bounce” ideas off of our team and allow us to provide feedback with regards to artistic direction and storytelling.

How do you handle site context images?
In order to preserve the realistic nature of our imagery, we request that clients provide professional high-resolution context photographs so that our team can seamlessly imbed your design into the final images.
For clients who do not have project site photos on hand, we are able to source and work with local photographers to have these provided (depending on location) as an additional service.

What information do I need to provide?
For interior and real estate projects that involve specified fixtures and furnishings, we request that the client provide an FFE specifications list with model numbers and reference images to maintain the accuracy of the intended design.
For all other projects that do not require that level of detail and specificity, our design team is able to help select the appropriate FFE objects from our extensive asset library and ensure that the final image is in alignment with the overall concept.
For architectural projects with a landscape design consultant onboard, we request that drawings be provided so that we may reference the landscape design intent, including names and images regarding specific tree and planting types. While we cannot guarantee the exact species will be used, we will attempt to source and match them with what is available from our model asset library.
How long does the entire process take?
We always aim to work within the time constraints of any given project. A typical set of visualizations may take anywhere between 2 to 8 weeks to complete, with the actual time required dependent on many factors including the overall timeline of the project submission, the complexity and completeness of the design, the number of images requested in the final deliverable, any unexpected changes to the design that may arise mid-production, how quickly we receive client feedback and sign-offs, and any delays due to third party consultants.
